It is almost impossible to finish the treatment in the planned time by wearing only at night during the treatment with transparent plaques. Therefore, the plaques should not be removed for more than 2 hours. DO I NEED TO REMOVE MY CLEAR PLATES WHILE I HAVE A DRINK?
If water and colorless foods such as soda are at room temperature, they can be consumed while the plaques are in the mouth. The material used in the production of transparent plaques is thermoplastic. Therefore, temperature changes negatively affect the compatibility of plaques with your teeth. You can drink normal temperature or cool drinks, but it is recommended to take it out when drinking hot things such as tea. Since Invisalign aligners are thermoplastic, they can be deformed in the heat. Again, colored drinks can distort the transparent appearance of the aligners. For this reason, it is recommended to take it out for the consumption of colored and hot and cold beverages and put it in the storage boxes given to you.

DOES INVISALIGN AFFECT MY SPEAKING?
The therapeutic plaques given to you when starting the transparent plaque treatment have a thickness between 0.65-1 mm. This difference in thickness can negatively affect your speech between 1-2 hours and 2 days, especially in some letters that the tongue needs contact during speaking. However, after 1-2 hours, our patients become accustomed to this situation with the suggested speech exercises. Also, they may feel a difference during swallowing in the first moments, and this situation is eliminated by adapting up to 1-2 hours.

CAN I REMOVE MY INVISALIGN PLATES ANYTIME?
Transparent plaques are almost invisible. But it can be removed in special moments, interviews or any time you want, provided that it does not exceed 2 hours. If longer periods have not been used, it should be used by extending the time until the plate completes its function.

DO THE COLOR OF CLEAR PLATES CHANGE OVER TIME?
Color change in transparent plaques is mostly caused by colored drinks consumed with the plaques or tobacco products such as cigarettes. In particular, drinks containing turmeric and curry immediately turn yellow and even if we clean the color recycling, it will not work.

HOW TO CLEAN INVISALIGN PLATES?
Cleaning the clear plates is quite simple. You can easily clean your plaques by using liquid soap and a toothbrush under running cold water simultaneously with brushing your teeth in the morning and evening. Toothpaste may also be preferred instead of liquid soap, but some agents in the paste may stain plaques a little gray and create a dirty appearance. Again, cleaning crystals or denture cleaning products specially produced by the companies can be used in cleaning processes. It should never be put into chemicals such as bleach.

MY INVISALIGN PLATES WON'T SIT, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
In the treatment planning made with transparent plaques, certain movements are planned in the teeth. For example, 2 degrees per plate for rotation. If the next plate is passed before the movement of the previous plate is completed, there will be blockage in the following process and the plate will lose its adaptation. In this case, 3 ways are tried; adaptation can be returned to the most ideal plate, partially made suitable for adaptation with short-term additions, or additional measurements can be taken and new plates can be requested. However, all these processes may prolong your treatment period.

AFTER INVISALIGN TREATMENT, WILL THE RECOVERY IN MY TEETH BE PERMANENT?
After your treatment with clear aligners is completed, a thin wire is usually attached for reinforcing purposes so that the teeth do not deteriorate again.
