IMPLANT TREATMENT
The loss of teeth, which is a part of facial aesthetics, causes psychological and social problems, as well as nutritional, digestive problems and speech disorders.

Until the 1980s, the removal of cavities due to tooth loss was eliminated with a bridge prosthesis. For the application of bridge prostheses, at least two teeth adjacent to the missing tooth had to be cut. Today, artificial tooth roots (implants) made of titanium are placed in the jawbone without the need to cut healthy teeth. On the implant (Titanium root), porcelain superstructures that imitate the function and aesthetics of the tooth are applied.

ADVANTAGES OF IMPLANT APPLICATIONS
Protection of teeth adjacent to dental cavities without cutting

Prevention of melting of the jawbone in the dental cavity

Oral hygiene applications are easier than bridge prostheses

Possibility of making porcelain teeth one by one as in natural tooth series

Increasing the retention of lower jaw full dentures, especially

CRITERIA DEFINING THE IMPLANT DECISION
Health status of the patient

Patient's age

Width of tooth space

Volumetric adequacy of bone

Density of bone

Oral hygiene

Tobacco use

                    IMPLANT PREPARATION AND APPLICATION STAGES

PATIENT'S MEDICAL STORY (SYSTEMIC STATUS)

Patients who will be implanted are asked whether they have major organ diseases. If they have any diseases, their current status after treatment is learned. In cases where the general health is not stable, it is directed to treatment. Drug allergies are questioned. If there is an allergy, it is taken into account in drug selection.

INTRA-ORAL RADIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION

the patient to be implanted; All teeth, gingival health and the condition of the bone in the implant application area are evaluated. Closure of the teeth is examined in detail.

PREPARATION OF TEMPORARY PROSTHESES
They are fixed or removable prostheses prepared to eliminate the patient's missing teeth until the day of implantation.

IMPLANT APPLICATION
By anesthetizing the gums and lifting the gums, a socket is prepared in the jawbone and the implant is placed. If the gingiva is removed, it is closed with stitches.

ORAL HYGIENE AND CARE AFTER IMPLANT APPLYING
The first week after implant application is the most important period for recovery. Oral hygiene is supported by special mouthwashes given by the physician during this period. The given antibiotic should be taken regularly. Ice should be applied intermittently for the first 24 hours to the implanted area from the outside of the mouth. Extremely hot liquids and solid foods should be avoided.

APPLICATION OF PORCELAIN TEETH ON IMPLANT
After an average waiting period of 2 months, the construction of the permanent porcelain teeth planned before the implant application is carried out.

CAN THE IMPLANT BE REJECTED BY THE BODY?
Implants are screws made of titanium, which is tissue-friendly without any side effects for the body.

WHAT IS THE LIFE OF THE IMPLANT?
The life of the implant is equivalent to the life of a real tooth, depending on the success of correct diagnosis, planning, application and oral hygiene.

IS IMPLANT APPLIED TO INDIVIDUALS WITH GINGAL DISEASE?
The application success of implants made after gingival treatment is equal to those without gingival disease.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMITATION FOR IMPLANT APPLICATION?
There is no age restriction in systemically healthy individuals. Implants can be applied to people who have completed their skeletal development.
