Dr. Okan Acar graduated from Kadıköy Anatolian Highschool in 1986, and from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1991. Afterwards he got his PhD in periodontology at Marmara University in 1999.

Dr Acar worked as a periodontologist in several well-known private dental clinics until 2009, such as Acıbadem Bagdat Caddesi and Acıbadem Kadıköy hospitals.

He managed the Esthetica Atasehir Clinic in 2010-2013 with his partner Prof. Dr. Arzu Aykor. In 2013 he founded Prodenta Dental Clinic again with Prof. Dr. Arzu Aykor and is currently working as a periodontologist in Prodenta.
