Prof. Dr. Arzu Aykor | Specialist in Restorative Dentistry & Aesthetic Dentistry

Prof. Dr. Arzu Aykor is among Türkiye's renowned academics in the fields of restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. Graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry with second place honors, Aykor has conducted original research in both academic and clinical practice for many years.

Education and Academic Career

  • 1991 — Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry (second in class)

  • 1997 — PhD: "The Effect of Fluoride on Enamel Erosion" — Title of Specialist in Restorative Dentistry

  • 2000 — Lecturer at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry.

  • 2014 — Professor at Okan University Faculty of Dentistry; Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin porcelain coatings applied to the front surface of teeth. Frequently used in aesthetic dentistry, this method is employed to improve the shape, color, and overall appearance of teeth. They are applied with minimal tooth preparation and provide an aesthetically pleasing look that blends seamlessly with natural tooth tissue.
