Prof. Dr. Ahu Acar

She completed her doctorate in 1997 at the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Marmara University, which she started in 1992, with her thesis entitled "Radiological and Topographic Evaluation of Root Resorption Following Intrusion Performed for Different Durations in Premolar Teeth". She received the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2009 in the same department. She served as the Head of the Department between 2014 and 2018. Between 2012 and 2018, she served on the Boards of Directors of the Turkish Orthodontic Society. She currently provides orthodontic treatment services to young people and adults at Prodenta Ataşehir and Prodenta Suadiye clinics in Istanbul. She is a member of the Turkish Orthodontic Society and the European Orthodontic Society.
