AND IMPACTED TOOTH EXTRACTIONS

PARTIALLY ERUPT WISDOM TEETH
SHOULD IT BE WITHDRAWN?
Partially erupted wisdom teeth are difficult to clean and therefore prone to decay. This can lead to swollen gums, bad breath, cheek biting, abscesses, and pain. Furthermore, partially erupted wisdom teeth can cause crowding of other teeth, making extraction a significant reason for their removal.
SINUS LIFTING PROCEDURE
The air-filled cavities located on either side of the upper jaw are called sinuses.
Sinuses adjacent to molars sometimes sag downwards, either anatomically or due to early tooth extraction; this causes insufficient bone tissue in that area, making implant placement difficult. With a sinus lifting procedure, the sinus floor is lifted upwards, thus increasing the amount of bone available for implant placement.
SHOULD COMPLETELY IMPACTED WISDOM TEETH BE EXTRACTED?
Completely impacted wisdom teeth and canine teeth that don't cause any problems can be monitored by your dentist and may not need to be extracted. However, if impacted teeth are damaging the roots of neighboring teeth or have formed cysts, extraction is necessary.
