SHOULD FULLY IMPACTEN WISDOM TEETH BE EXTRACTED?

Completely impacted wisdom teeth and canine teeth that do not cause any problems may be kept under control by your dentist and may not be extracted. However, if the impacted teeth damage the roots of neighboring teeth or have formed cysts, they must be extracted.

SHOULD PARTIALLY Erupted Wisdom Teeth Be Extracted?

Partially erupted wisdom teeth are difficult to clean and can therefore decay. As a result, the gums can swell, bad breath, cheek biting, abscesses and pain can occur. In addition, partially erupted wisdom teeth can also cause other teeth to become crooked, which is an important reason for extraction.

SURGICAL PROCEDURES GENERAL ANESTHESIA

IS IT REQUIRED?

Diagnosis, surgical treatment of lesions involving soft tissue in the mouth (cysts or tumors) and hard tissue surgeries (wisdom teeth, canine teeth, bone grafts, etc.) are performed under local anesthesia. However, patients with severe dental phobia may be treated under general anesthesia or sedation.

SINUS LIFTING PROCEDURE
The air-filled spaces located on both sides of the upper jaw are called sinuses.

The sinuses adjacent to the molars sometimes sag downward due to anatomical reasons and sometimes due to early tooth extraction; this causes insufficient bone tissue in that area, making implant application difficult. With the Sinus Lift procedure, the sinus floor is lifted upwards, thus increasing the amount of bone for the implant to be placed in that area.
